Some Tips if you are bringing your network or any Electrical Appliances to Spain:

Spanish plugs use 220-240 volts and the physical connection may be different from what you have at home. Read on for information related to electrical appliances that work in Spain.

Bringing Your Own Electrical Appliances to Spain...

  1. from the UK & Ireland (*Also Cyprus, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong) You will have no problems plugging in your electrical appliance in Spain except for the physical fact that it won't fit! You should bring or buy an adapter. A cheap adapter can be bought in advance (from Currys or Boots) or (even cheaper) in Spain in any hardware store.
  2. from North & South America American appliances use 110V, however, many are adapted to work on both sides of the Atlantic.

Find out if your US appliance will work in Spain.

From elsewhere in Europe: Most of Europe uses the same power supply as Spain and uses the same plugs too, so no adapter is required.
